Rayearth's Description

Actually, nobody in Magic Knight Rayearth can be called a real villain, but something in me tells me Alcyone is a villain in this series, but that's just me. Alcyone is the first person Zagato sent to destroy the Knights. She nearly managed, but lost to Hikaru for the first time because she didn't expect her to know magic already. Alcyone was sent later again a few more times, but failed miserablly.

Her magic was taught by Clef, but her magic not really on par with anybody else from the series in terms of variation and power - even at her best. Alcyone loves Zagato (but he doesn't like her), that's why she followed him when he kidnapped Princess Emeraude although she knew it was wrong. In the Manga, Zagato was disgusted by her failures and killed her, but this didn't happen in the Anime. In the second season of the Anime, Alcyone once again sides with the villains, but at the end, she turned back, but it cost her life.
