Rayearth's Description

Debonair's really the only character that would classify fully as a villain in the whole of MKR. At first, she's mysterious and all, looking like your typical master of evil who's just lurking around the corner to unleash chaos onto the world. However, like how most things work in Cefiro, Debonair isn't your typical demon god who's been sleeping for a long time and awaken by some crazy arch mage. She's an essence created by the fear of losing a pillar of the people of Cefiro.

Since the people has always depended on their pillar, with each shake of the ground, their fear grows, and hence Debonair's power. This was fully demonstrated in one episode when a small group of children was assaulted by some monsters which came from a black teleportation sphere. The more they were afraid, the larger the sphere and stronger the monsters got. Debonair's purpose is to make Cefiro collapse and take over the Symbol of the Pillar (Emeraude's crown, but the symbol would change form to fit a pillar), which she believes would bring her a stream of endless energy.
