Why is it called "New" Ring of Magic Knight Rayearth?
This has to do with the original Magic Knight Rayearth Ring. I was Assistant Manager of the old Magic Knight Rayearth Ring, however, when I became the manager, the Ring was too unorganized to fully repair and get back to fully working status. Sometime later, we decided to abandon the old Ring to start a new one. This is where this "New" comes in. If you still see pages with ring fragments saying "Magic Knight Rayearth Ring" with a Fuu logo next to it, you'll know the webmaster didn't update his/her page for a long time.

How do I edit my ring profile once I'm in the ring?
To edit your information on the ring, head to http://n.webring.com/mbr?p=ms.

How do I add myself to the ring?
The fact is you don't add yourself to the ring. You can only submit your site into the queue for review. Webring.org does an automatic check once in a while to see if the link you submitted contains the ring fragment. If you have placed the fragment on your site, it will add you in automatically.

I've submitted my site and I got removed, why?
You have been removed mostly because your site does not obey the rules of the ring. Most of the time, it is because of the ring fragment. You will need to have it there on your page within one week after you have submitted your site, or your page will be removed. It could also be because your site does not follow the rules of the ring (as stated on the main page). I will send you a separate e-mail including the reason of removal if the reason is not included in the rules, so be sure to check you mail before starting a letter of complaint!

The form doesn't work!
Sometimes, it is because the server is too busy, you can try again later. However, if you are having problems with any Javascript on the page, it maybe because your browser is not compatible. Download a copy of Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher.

What difference does this ring have compared to the other Magic Knight Rayearth rings around?
This Ring is noticeably the largest MAGIC KNIGHT RAYEARTH ring. This is mainly because this was the first and - I hope - most organized MAGIC KNIGHT RAYEARTH ring around. This is also a ring specifically for MAGIC KNIGHT RAYEARTH and RAYEARTH OVA, unlike other general Anime rings.

Can I still submit my site if only part of it is about Magic Knight Rayearth?
Yes, as long as that part is dedicated to MAGIC KNIGHT RAYEARTH (meaning not just having a picture of Mokona or something), you can join the ring. However, the ring fragment must be placed on your MAGIC KNIGHT RAYEARTH page since the ring is for MAGIC KNIGHT RAYEARTH pages.

Are there other ring logos I can choose from?
There were more before Yahoo took over (September 2000). The current webring system doesn't support multiple logos so this is the only one.

Are you accepting assistants to help maintain this ring?
The automated system on webring.org pretty much takes care of itself, so no, I don't need any assistants.

Now that Yahoo's out of the picture, how do we get things to work again?
Basically, everythings works the same way without a Yahoo account. Just go to Webring.org and use it the way you used to with Yahoo. Really, the major difference is the reintroduction of the old ring fragments (although the server side nav bars Yahoo used are still avaliable) and I get lots more control over the ring than Yahoo gave me (although it still stops me from getting your e-mail addresses directly). Don't worry about the change, if you were part of the ring before the change, you're already moved to the new system when I migrated the ring and if you're new, well, just do it step by step as the instructions on webring.org says. It's really that easy, not much need for explaining.
