The Anime of MKR is split into 2 parts. Part 1 tells the story of how the girls first got transported to the world of Cefiro to fulfil the Legend of the Magic Knights. Part 2 tells the story of how they returned to the world again due to regret of what they did to fulfil the Legend. Part 1 covers episodes 1-20 while part 2 covers episodes 21-49.
